A bit about Dr. Sundaram.
Dr. Lakshman Sundaram is board-certified in Occupational & Environmental Medicine and fellowship-trained in Interventional Pain Medicine. His training spans anesthesiology, occupational medicine, and public health, and his practice emphasizes accurate diagnosis, minimally invasive treatment, and restoring function — a combination that is especially useful in work-related injury. He is licensed in both New York and New Jersey.
A committed educator, Dr. Sundaram has served as a senior researcher and faculty member with the New York School of Regional Anesthesia (NYSORA) at Mount Sinai, and has taught clinical skills to medical students and International Medical Graduates at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, the American University of Antigua, UNIBE School of Medicine, and San Juan Bautista School of Medicine. He has coauthored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, and is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society (IPSIS), the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling with family and exploring global medical innovations.
